My eldest daughter (17) is getting into the recycling programme or rather she adds to my pile of things to do!!
Having long legs and a long body doesn’t always sit well with off the rail clothing as Lollipop finds a lot. So she threw me a top -literally- and asked me to fix it!
Easy, I chopped off the gusset, hemmed all the way around, leaving a two each gap, threaded through some elastic and hey ho a new top (that isn’t going to cut her in half!!)
Not wanting to waste any fabric I recycles the leftover into a couple of flowers added a bead to each and stitched them on to the neckline.
Amazing recon! And it looks so simple too. Great way of not wasting fabric I never thought of that.
